How Can You Apply To Compete On Tipping Point?

Do you fancy your chances against the machine? Do you find yourself screaming at the contestants for releasing the counters at the wrong time? Maybe you should apply to be on TV and have your chance to win up to £20,000 and show us all how it’s done!

Tipping Point invite viewers to apply to be on the show ahead of filming each series. Keep an eye on the Be On TV microsite to spot when they’re open. You’ll sometimes see a message during the show telling you when they’ve opened applications for an upcoming series too.

Being on the show gives you a much better chance of winning than entering the viewers’ Tipping Point competition as you’ve only got three other players to beat for your chance to get the Jackpot Counter out of the machine.

Can Anyone Apply To Be On Tipping Point?

Anyone aged 18 or over should be able to apply, with a few exceptions. The key one is that ITV employees and their immediate contacts are not eligible, which means immediate family and friends. That’s to avoid any suggestion that there’s any shady deals going on behind the cameras, and to help maintain the integrity of the show.

How Do I Find The ITV Be On TV Website?

To see all the programmes that ITV are recruiting for, head over to their Be On TV microsite.

If you don’t see Tipping Point listed, it’s probably just because they’re not recruiting contestants at that time. Have a look through what is available though, as something else might appeal, and you can always check back later to see when applications open for the next series.

What Happens If I’m Selected From Applications?

Tipping Point get a lot of applicants, as it’s a popular show and everyone would love the chance to win some money!

If you do successfully apply and are selected to progress, you’ll get details of where you need to be if you’re invited to the Tipping Point studio and when you’ll be required.

Filming locations and slots are likely to be rigid though, so it’s not worth applying unless you’re able to be flexible – for example to get the time off work of the day of filming if required.
