The quickest, and arguably the best way to enter if you’re paying for your entry is to use the ITV website.
It’s not just about speed – you also get an added extra or three when you enter online:
- Winsday Tickets
Every time you pay for a competition entry through the ITV Win portal, you’ll get an entry into the following Wednesday’s Winsday draw (up to a maximum of 30 entries per week). - Bonus Tokens
A paid entry gets you 20 bonus tokens, which can be exchanged for entries into the Tokens competitions on the ITV Win portal.* - Special Offers
If you enter competitions multiple times, you can usually get extra free entries. For example, at the time of writing, 3 entries bought together will get you 3 extra entries into some paid competitions, giving you six entries for the price of three.**
*Online entries also qualify for 20 bonus tokens per paid entry, which can be used for entering addition competitions on the ITV Win portal. Occasionally, lower price per entry prize draws run, with entries costing around £1. In this case, the number of bonus tokens per entry may be reduced to 10.
**When you press the ‘Enter Online Now’ button, you’ll see the extras listed when you choose how many entries you’d like, so be sure to read them carefully to understand what you’re buying and how much it will be costing.
In addition, think carefully, as it’s easy to be tempted in the heat of the moment to buy extra entries, so if you’re impulsive by nature, think ahead about what you’re prepared to spend!
Another great thing about the online option to enter over the phone and text alternatives is that the competition simply disappears when it closes, so it’s far less likely (if not impossible) that you’ll pay for an entry that doesn’t count.
That’s not the case with phone and text entries – you’ve heard the spiel – you will not be entered but you may still be charged.
